Bespoke Solution For Premier League Club: Huddersfield Town

Operating at the highest level in English football leaves little room for error, preparation off the pitch is vital when taking on the elite of the game. With this in mind, Huddersfield contacted us looking for a solution which would allow Head Coach David Wagner and his analytics team to study every piece of data and then feed this data back to the squad. Fast annotation and superior visual performance were a prerequisite, to give Town the edge when analysing their own performance and opposition tactics.

Director of Innovations, Craig Pickard, set about coming up with a solution that would meet all the demands of the club. A lectern featuring all the clubs branding, including the new logo, was designed by System Designer Dave Richardson. The lectern will act as a teaching point for David Wagner and his staff.  Incorporating a 42″ iiyama touchscreen, which will allow the analysts to feed data from their laptop in real-time. Wagner will then be able to annotate on top of live images which will then be visualised for the players on a large vinyl display via two Epson UST projectors.

The iiyama Prolite 42″ inch display panel was chosen for its ease of use and wide range of features. Infrared 20 point touch, allows for smooth annotation and a Full HD AMVA3 commercial grade panel guarantees high brightness, exceptional colour and great viewing from all angles.

Hope Street Xchange

Project: Video Wall, Conference Rooms, Meeting Rooms, Boardroom & Room Scheduling

Hope Street Exchange is a £9m Centre for Enterprise and Innovation – a contemporary workspace for a new community of innovation-led businesses. We were awarded the contract to fit the facility with a wide range of AV systems including an eye-catching 10 screen video wall greeting visitors at the lower entrance and a variety of meeting rooms and boardrooms as well as a large Conference Space. This space consisted of back-to-back Conference rooms with a retractable wall, allowing one large Conference Space to be easily created. All of the meeting space solutions were focused on BYOD and wireless presentation principles, allowing users to quickly and easily present information

A building-wide Room Booking system has Crestron touch panels located outside every room. These panels not only indicate the room availability, but also allow users to control the meeting schedule and appointments directly from the panel itself. The Installation was completed in 2017 and we are already looking at ways to integrate additional AV and enhance the systems and solutions on offer.

Federation of Abbey Academy

21 Sahara M-touch screens installed across two Academy Sites

The Academy went out to tender on the CPC framework in January 2018, with the premise of updating their current classroom systems. After assessing the tender, Stafford Lund decided that the M-Touch was the best solution for the Academy and fit all the relative criteria.
A demonstration was organised, and carried out on the 30th of January by Area Manager Anthony Christie. The screen scored highest against other competitive manufactures based on specification, application and total cost of ownership of the project. Roche provided the screens with a five year on-site warranty, Oktopus annotation software and Hitachi 120w soundbars.

Install began in early February and was carried out by Roche’s own in-house engineers.  The existing equipment was removed from the site free of charge and disposed of under WEEE. After the completion of the Install on the 2nd March, a follow up training session was organised to ensure the end users got the most out of their new technology. The session was carried out by Anthony Christie on the 13th of March, with on-going support still being provided.
